Fullstack Engineer - C#.Net (f/m/d)
Job Description:
Our client is a Merchant of Record processing software sales worldwide. You build and evolve the platform across backend and frontend — C# and modern .NET on the server, React and TypeScript on the client. A full-ownership engineering role: strong technical judgment, production reality, and the discipline to balance new delivery with reliability and technical-debt reduction.
THE ROLE
You own the design and evolution of backend services and frontend applications across the platform — end to end, from design to production, in a complex, business-critical system. You design and evolve APIs (REST and GraphQL) for consistency, scalability, and long-term maintainability, make pragmatic trade-offs between new features and system stability, and drive root-cause fixes over temporary patches. You raise the engineering bar through code reviews, refactoring, and better practices — and work with Product to shape solutions, not just implement tickets. Ownership, sound judgment in ambiguity, and clear, direct communication about risks and trade-offs are the baseline.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Own the design and evolution of backend services and frontend applications across the platform.
- Deliver features end-to-end, from design to production, in a complex, business-critical system.
- Design and evolve APIs (REST and GraphQL) for consistency, scalability, and maintainability.
- Make pragmatic trade-offs between new features, system stability, and technical-debt reduction.
- Improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency in a cloud-based (AWS) environment.
- Diagnose and resolve production issues with root-cause fixes, not patches.
- Raise the engineering bar through code reviews and refactoring — and shape solutions with Product.
WHAT YOU BRING
The real must-haves:
- Strong professional experience building backend systems with C# and modern .NET.
- Production-grade frontend experience with React and TypeScript.
- Deep understanding of API design and evolution (REST and/or GraphQL), incl. performance and versioning.
- Solid software-architecture sense; you navigate and improve large, existing codebases.
- Experience operating systems in production — monitoring, debugging, incident resolution.
- Modern practices: Git workflows, CI/CD, automated testing.
- Experience with AWS and distributed systems at scale.
Nice-to-haves:
- Infrastructure-as-code (e.g. Terraform).
- Track record of improving performance or reliability in production systems.
WHAT'S IN IT FOR YOU
- Real ownership over a business-critical platform — no ticket-factory, you shape solutions with Product.
- Work hybrid or fully remote — with flexible hours.
- A personal L&D budget and structured development programs.
- Health & well-being benefits, pension/retirement plans, referral bonuses, and more.
- A 200+ person, 30+ nationality team where people tend to stay.
